I’ve long been a proponent of exceptional customer experiences; in case you haven’t noticed, these experiences are more and more difficult to find! For the last 20 years I have dedicated myself to creating best-in-class customer experiences, in doing so, I’ve personally placed over 5000 renters into the perfect place to call home across Metro Atlanta. As the Online Sales Director of the largest apartment locating service in the Southeast, innovation, guiding and advising at scale was the platform to my success.

After stepping out of the corporate side of multi-family housing in 2019, I have since became a licensed agent and have sold over 23 million dollars in real estate.

Marrying people and housing is my passion. Buying and selling is my business. This process can be emotional, sometimes intimidating; especially to a first-time home buyer. My customer’s needs mean everything to me. I listen carefully and will guide you sincerely. I make myself available at all times. I have a reputation for remarkable response rates.

My knowledge of Atlanta is vast, immersing myself with the lifestyle and culture of the city is not only my job, but it’s what I love to do. Who is Ian Oliver?

I was born in Manchester, England and grew up in a seaside town in North Wales! I was fortunate to be raised in a beautiful part of the United Kingdom. Lucky boy! My competitive nature was fostered early as a successful cross country/track and field athlete. After running nationally for Wales on many occasions I was recruited to America on a track and field scholarship. I accepted the opportunity with open arms.

My American journey began in 1995. After a two year stint in a small town in Kansas (an authentic Midwest experience), I eventually transitioned to Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas (pine trees and hot days); as a scholarship track athlete that climate took a toll. I graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Kinesiology. Upon graduation I considered a move back to the UK, but decided against this and took a chance on moving to Atlanta for a sales position. This decision ultimately led me to the career path I am immersed in today and was the true catalyst for my personal and professional growth.

The relocation to Atlanta landed me with PROMOVE – The Apartment Source. My 18 years of experience as their Online Sales Director positioned me perfectly for my Atlanta Real Estate career. I’ve fostered thousands of relationships with renters and professionals in the apartment industry and developed a broad and detailed knowledge of Atlanta as a city and her lifestyle opportunities.

These lifestyle opportunities have accommodated my deep passion and palate for food and wine, the culinary options in Atlanta are exciting! While I work wherever I go, domestic and international travel is also important to me; hotels fascinate me, especially historic and boutique spots! Short trips work best since I don’t like leaving our city for long. Too much to do!
